Annals of Complementary and Alternative Medicine (ACAM) covers the latest developments in multidisciplinary areas of complementary and alternative medicine with focus on novel therapies and mechanism of action of structurally identified compounds affecting biological systems. ACAM will encompass research and review articles relating to all branches of complementary and alternative medicine. Manuscripts with innovative ideas and/or approaches that bridge different fields are considered with priority. ACAM is also committed to help researchers from developing countries enhancing their manuscripts and research through a mentoring board. The journal accepts manuscripts within the scope of complementary and alternative medicine. The main subject areas include, but are not limited to, Botanical Medicine, Traditional Medicine, Nutrition and Dietary Supplements, Naturopathy, Homeopathy and Integrative Biophysics.Â

Peer Review Process
The Annals of Complementary and Alternative Medicine (ACAM)  is a peer-reviewed publication that contains original general interest and discipline specific articles related to the Medical and Biomedical field. The materials, articles, and information provided in this journal have been peer reviewed by the independent reviewer and members of the editorial board of the AMBS.This journal uses double-blind review, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa, throughout the review process.

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
